Creative workflows are about to get significantly faster thanks to a new partnership struck by Alteon.io and Loupedeck, the acclaimed creator of editing consoles.
The two companies crossed paths at the 2022 NAB Show. Leaders from both companies instantly understood the value of a cross-collaboration effort to bring Alteon on Loupedeck screens, and bring more Loupedeck consoles to creative professionals using Alteon. Upcoming incentives will help both communities integrate their workflows and take advantage of best-in-class technology and special offers.
Loupedeck has been an industry leader with the Loupedeck+, Loupedeck Live and Loupedeck CT, helping professionals across creative industries speed up their workflows. Photographers, musicians, production professionals and anyone else working with media understands the value of a distinct physical console to streamline edits, adjustments and access to software.
Alteon tackles creative workflows from a different angle, consolidating numerous single-purpose applications into a single, powerful space. With Alteon, users can upload large media files faster, enjoy automatic proxy transcoding, collaborate with remote team members instantly, make timestamped comments on video files and house assets under world-class security protocols.
For Alteon, this marks the latest in a series of strategic partnerships and collaborations with industry-leading companies, including Adobe, Bluescape, IBM, Teradek and Vidispine.
“Speed and security are arguably the two most important factors for creatives today,” says Matt Cimaglia, co-founder of Alteon. “These digital roadblocks will only become more pronounced as Web3 technologies, including blockchains and new video formats, grow increasingly popular. Teaming up with Loupedeck marks the latest step in our mission to democratize the creative industry, making enterprise-grade tools available to all.”
From the Loupedeck perspective, matching Alteon’s powerful software with their proven hardware was an easy decision.
“Creative tools have become overwhelmingly complex, with many professionals requiring numerous apps and logins to edit, store, process and publish digital media,” says Mikko Kesti, founder and CEO of Loupedeck. “Our goal has always been to make the perfect edit easy for creatives by letting them optimize and design their own workflows. The team at Alteon identified the same problem, and came up with an innovative solution I am excited to share with our community.”
