Alteon x Final Cut Pro for iPad: A mobile workflow

IMG 0005

Alteon has created a powerful, unique mobile workflow to connect the desktop and iPad versions of Final Cut Pro using our cloud technology. Here's how it works.

First, from within Alteon, navigate to the project that contains the media you'd like to download.

Click the three-dot menu on the lefthand side and choose which file you'd like to download, either the original or the proxy.

When asked to choose a location for your download, select "On My iPad".

Optional: You can create a new folder if you'd like to keep things extra organized, then select that sub-folder for your Alteon project.

Once you're set, select "Open Media" to save the media to that folder.

Then navigate to Final Cut Pro for iPad and create a new project.

Import your media from the Files app into Final Cut Pro for iPad.

You should now see your media in Final Cut Pro, ready for mobile editing.

That's it! If you ever have any questions or comments about cloud-based post-production workflows on iPad, email us at **[email protected] **and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
