I’m proud to announce that Alteon has officially onboarded more than 4,300 users, up from 3,000 this time last month. This is a remarkable accomplishment and a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team.
Since introducing paid tiers in September, we’ve also debuted our new **nearline storage **class with our version 2.3 release, which will help our community members save money and stay organized in the cloud.
Also in the past month, we have started to horizontally scale up our technical infrastructure as we see increased demand, specifically with regards to how we transcode digital media.
We also announced a groundbreaking partnership with **Teradek**, the production industry’s leading provider of high-performance video solutions for broadcast, cinema and general imaging applications. We’re building a camera-to-cloud solution with them that will allow thousands of sets worldwide to instantly send up to 4K HDR footage to Alteon Cloud. Crews can simply connect their cameras to select Teradek transcoders linked to Alteon Cloud, where their footage will appear within minutes, depending on the speed of their internet connection.
